I am so glad you are here! Let me introduce myself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in college students, women's issues, postpartum Individuals & families, anxiety and depression, life transitions, personal crisis, self-esteem, and grief and loss. I see clients in Columbia, MO at Cherry Hill. I hold a Masters Degree in both Education and Counseling.

I am a Postpartum International Trained Therapist with over 20 years experience as an educator and another 10 or so providing community-based services. I believe, this gives me a more global perspective on issues that we all face from time to time. Although experienced in a broad range of issues, I am especially interested in Perinatal issues, Postpartum, and fertility issues, not only for the mom but also the fathers, and other family members, as well as all different types of families, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem & empowerment, grief & loss, and relationship issues, and parental support.
I am LGBTQ friendly and welcome everyone into my office.

My approach to therapy is based on client need. My work is grounded in a client centered strengths-based/insight-oriented perspective. Some of the modalities I use are Choice Theory & Reality Therapy, Humanistic approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy.

I am accepting new clients at this time and would be happy to talk with you about if I am the counselor you are looking for.
